A victim of
road rage, DriveCam's inventor envisioned the need for a product that
captured a driver's experiences and used them to improve driving safety,
security, and accountability. Today, DriveCam records accidents and risky
driving behavior, helping reduce car accidents.
Tuesday, February 7, 2006 - Cord Cell Technologies
Technologies has developed a non-invasive needle-free medical device
technology, the UCB 1000, to facilitate the safe and efficacious
collection of umbilical cord blood stem cells during normal birthing. Cord
blood cell therapy is a recent scientific breakthrough, and a recommended
alternative to bone marrow or other sources of stem cells and has no moral
or ethical issues associated with embryonic stem cells.
Tuesday, February 14, 2006 - Dropshots Inc.
was born out of the Cognitive Science and Computer Science research labs
at UCSD. DropShots.com is a service to help friends and family stay
connected. The technology has been bringing comfort to soldiers on
deployment with videos and photos from family back home.
